Layla von Sparrow is an extraordinary and ever so endearing 4-year-old Shepherd mix girl.  If we had to sum up Layla in one word it would be "caretaker."  Layla is one of those special souls who feels the need to nurture and care for anyone or anything she sees who needs her.  Layla has been in a foster home with both small puppies and larger dogs and to say she's perfectly behaved would be an understatement.  She is house trained and walks well on a leash.  Layla is also crate trained but would love to find a home where someone is home most of the time. Shepherds love having a job to do and Layla knows exactly what her job is and that's being the big sister to her foster brothers and sisters.  Because Layla has the need to nurture and befriend her fellow dogs, we feel she would best be suited in a home with other canine companions.  She also loves children and would be a perfect family dog.  Layla looks forward to car rides and enjoys her daily walks but isn't a high energy dog. Layla has a luxurious coat so soft and full to the touch.  Layla would love to meet you if you think she's the one for you!
